Components of the R3000® Industrial Shelving System

The Post

A galvanized corrosion resistant profile, with the shape of a closed box for superior performance and loading capacity. The clips (lugs) are built into the post in 2-inch increments. This saves a significant amount of time during installation, allows for extremely fast re-arrangement of levels, and prevents the frequent issue of misplaced clips. All posts include foot plates, so units can be bolted to floor when required. Posts feature lugs on both sides, so the system follows the Started + Add-on principle, which brings considerable savings in large row installations.

The Shelves

The shelf is a solid steel deck that is installed directly on the post lugs, no beams are required. Available in 2 versions, standard, with up to 600lbs of loading capacity, and heavy duty, with up to 1,000lbs of loading capacity. Available in 2 finishes, painted or pre-galvanized to build a corrosion free unit. Shelves come prepunchedon the top for ease and accurate installation of dividers. Shelves can be tilted 12° for ergonomic picking without the need of any additional hardware.

The Accessories for R3000® Industrial Shelving System

The R3000® System features one of the most comprehensive range of accessories available on the market. Choose between:

  • Bins. SSI SCHAEFER lines of bins LF & RK have been designed to perfectly cube R3000® sizes. This means the storage space is maximized, reducing both cost and floor space needed
  • Dividers. Stand alone or full height, to create closed boxes
  • Panels. Side and back, in solid steel galvanized or wire mesh versions
  • Doors. With built-in lock, to build a completely enclosed and secured unit
  • Drawers. Turn your shelving unit into a tool cabinet. Made of steel. Ball bearing roller tracks for easy and smooth opening/close
  • Insert Boxes for Drawers. Plastic bins specifically designed to fit the drawers. Create endless combinations and partitions to fit any specific needs
  • Bin Fronts. To prevent loose items from falling off the shelves
  • Storage Trays. That can easily slide in/out of the shelving unit
  • Bin Stops. Act as stops on tilted shelves for ergonomic picking from containers
  • Infill Pieces. Sit between side by side shelves to create a continuous shelf
  • Floor Rails. To prevent dust accumulation under the units
  • Aisle Markers. To indicate aisle information on large installations
  • Floor Shims. To level uneven slabs
  • Top Caps. To prevent accidental injuries during manual operations
